Matt Santarpio, the current owner, purchased The Walnut Market in January 2020 (yup, just before the pandemic hit).  After graduating from the Isenberg Business School at UMass, Amherst, Matt worked in liquor distribution and subsequently managed multiple liquor stores.  With that product knowledge, he has expanded the craft beer and wine selection at The Walnut Market while keeping the tradition of offering specialty items you are unlikely to find at other retailers.  Feel free to stop in and say hello.  If the store is open, Matt will be there, happy to help you find something new.
